What if the mail from SLACVM had been sent directly to you instead of
being sent to LISTSERV *and* you wanted to reply to all the people
listed in the header (e.g. "REPLY ALL")? Well if the addresses had
only a userid and no node name, the LOCAL NODE is to be assumed, which
would be YOURS. It's OK for userids to be without node names as long
as they stay inside that node. Once they exit the node, they should
have the node name added if not already present. It's too bad that
we are letting mailuser agents (the program you run to send mail) have
to generate the proper headers. In my opinion the mailer should do it
and in this case LISTSERV is doing it technically right, albeit somewhat
incompatible with a network just FULL of lots of incompatibilities.
