And "unix list server version x.y" canNOT be considered acceptable
wording, for obvious reasons.

I most strenuously object to this concept, specifically in relation
to the CASUAL COMPUTER USER. At the rate unix is developing, it
will need at least 10-15 more years before becoming anything
resembling a user-friendly environment. No application I have tried
on unix gives me a feeling of "Hey, this looks like it's easy to
use!". (even MS/PC-DOS is less unfriendly!)
