I am running LISTSERV on Windows NT. As far as file systems go, I can
put a file in but I can't seem to "get" it.

     Here's what I've done:

     - created a text file called "sample.file" in directory LISTSERV\MAIN

     - added this line to SITE.CATALOG :
                sample.file sample.file.A all own

With the "index" command, I was able to see it on the index list.
But when I send the command "get sample file" , the file is sent back
but it contains only this: O~ (actually a square and a tilda).

Am I storing it or retrieving it with the wrong format?

Also, is it possible to create a subdirectory under LISTSERV\MAIN to
store files in? How do you tell SITE.CATALOG to look in a subdirectory
     for it?

I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks
