Sue,

Errors will go to Owner not listed as "non-quiet Owners" (Owners listed after a "QUIET:" line) as well as any address included as a parameter to Errors-To=. Email to the Listname-Request address will also go to non-quiet Owners. It sounds as though you have not removed your address from the list header wherever it may appear (Owners=, Errors-To=, and perhaps Notify=, Editor=, Moderator=).

In transferring ownership and function, identically, to another party, you simply need to add the new owner as Owner= and wherever else your address appears, such as Errors-To= , Notify= , Editor=, Moderator=, to the list header, and then remove yourself. Once your address has been removed, you no longer have access, so it is sometimes a good idea to leave yourself on as a Quiet Owner until you know the transfer is accomplished.

        Owner=new-owner@domain
        Owner= QUIET:
        Owner= [log in to unmask]

That will simply ensure your continued access until you are certain the transfer is accomplished.

Michael
