Not sure why the software isn't catching this loop. Had to make the list
Private the other day to break the loop. Any idea why Listserv's standard
filter doesn't catch this?

Loop seems to be between the following two addresses

The licenses that can be purchased from Digital at the 50% discount are
normal, everyday COMMERCIAL licenses. There is NO restriction applied
to a COMMERCIAL license WRT your questions (eg. non-student,
non-university associated, etc.). Almost anyone can use them!

The only relationship between a commercial license purchased at list and
a commercial license purchased at 50% of list is the fact that the
DISCOUNT schedule itself (namely 50% of list) is available only to
Educational Institutions meeting certain Digital criteria... and as I
remember it (I'm at home and can't look this up just now) there is no
relationship between the CSLG Program and the 50% commercial license
discount. As I recall, it is only necessary that the purchaser be a
"certified," degree granting or K through 12 institution as defined by
Digital.

In fact, the Digital Initiative that provides this 50% discount is
called the EMB (Educational Market Basket) program and it is one of
about six separate aspects of the Digital TEI (The Educational
Initiative) Program. NOTE that the CSLG program is another (unrelated
to the EMB program) aspect of the TEI program as is the ESL program and
the Hardware Stockpiling and Self-Repair program. (I *know* I didn't
get the title of that last once exactly right, but please allow for
the fact that I'm not at the office just now.)

Hope this helps,
