We all seem to have one or more of these people. You were being kind to
set him to digest. I set to nomail.

LISTSERV(tm) doesn't do this, it is Sendmail that is doing so. This is
normal behavior when a transient delivery error occurs (mailbox full is a
transient error, because it might be cleared up shortly)

As noted above I set them to nomail, then I send them a pointed msg
saying essentially 'cleanup your mailbox and keep it that way or you're
off the list.' I would not send the msg until monday in this case, I
would assume their mbx is still full and would wait for it to clear. I
give them 2 bounces of the msg and then leave them on nomail until they
write to say 'what happened'. Periodically I check the list and if they
have been nomail for along time, I just delete them.
