A listmember who has been served out continues to receive mail but
cannot post.  Generally this is done by setting a person NOPOST, and
is one way of shutting up an obnoxious voice without filtering. I
presume that Listserv has an automatic feature which "serves out"
addresses with large numbers of errors.  Ony the listowner can
remove the barrier by the command: SET YOURLIST POST FOR [log in to unmask]
