A substantial number of Vatican2 subscribers using America On Line service
may be unable to access the full line-by-line daily Vatican2 Digest due to a
technical mismatch that seems to exit between Vm.Temple.Edu output and
AOL's widely used 3.11 input requirements, resulting in many ARCC/Vat2
subscribers having no way to access the full content of the daily Digests.

AOL service reps acknowledged by direct telephone that their download
feature has no way of expanding some digests into full line text format
before executing the download command, thus permanently wiping out
everything in the received document after the cutoff point determined by
the source transmitter.

AOL suggests asking Vatican2's list server if the daily digests are also
available in an optional full line-by-line text. Question: to whom should an
interested subscriber address the problem, seeking solution?
