This thread has veered off-topic. Looking for answers to these two questions:

1) The keyword reference doesn't specify whether wildcards are permitted with Allow.

Responder below thinks the answer is YES.

2) Does Filter= bypass list moderation?

I've never used filter "allow", but it sounds like it should work as you wish. The asterisk is allowed in similar places, so I would expect it to be allowed here.

You haven't shown your "Send= " setting. If you don't have "Confirm" as a "Send=" parameter, that may be all you need to add. Of course, it would mean that your posters would need to respond to the confirmation email created by their post ... not a bad idea if you want to curb spoofing.

Cheers, Wayne

Some of our announcement lists are being hit by spammers generating annoying moderation approval messages. How do I configure my list to reject everything from outside domains while sending all those from internal addresses to the moderators for approval? Inside senders might not be list subscribers.

I want to use

Filter= Allow,*@csulb.edu<http://csulb.edu>

but still have all messages sent to the moderators.
