Why?  She said it was her opinion.  I speak ex cathedra from my belly
button every now and then on this list and nobody yells at me for posting
my personal opinion from an L-Soft address.  Frankly I agree with Francoise
and with Kary's follow-up.  But that's my OPINION and I am not speaking for
L-Soft when I say it.  I generally let Eric do the speaking for L-Soft :)

The fact of the matter is that this whole argument about whether or not
a user should be able to see whether or not he or she has been set to
REVIEW or NOPOST has been argued at length before.  And I believe Eric
has always said that the user has a right to know whether or not they
are so set (and I'm sure Eric will correct me if I am wrong, but I don't
think I am).

However (he said, in his official capacity as one of the LSTOWN-L list
owners), I think the debate has raged long enough.  So let's all just let
it go and everybody have a nice weekend.
