I would like to second Joan Korenman's comments on the practice of
having Reply-To  be addressed to the original poster rather than
the list.  It is a disincentive to discussion which is what electronic
discussion lists are supposed to be for.   I subscribe to one such
list; the contributions have petered down to about 1 new message a
week.  It's not worth the trouble of maintaining such a list or of
subscribing to it; in fact I plan to unsub this week.
