LISTSERV  summarizes  permanent  errors and  *discards*  temporary  ones.
However, there can  be *many* errors that it doesn't  recognize. Since it
doesn't  understand  what  they  are, it  doesn't  know  whether  they're
important or not and forwards them to you...
