LISTSERV uses a "distribute" technique.
So, if there's a "bottleneck" between a "backbone" host in Europe
and the nearest "backbone" host to your site, there is the possibility
of a delay. Given that you're not paying for any of this TCP/IP traffic,
I think that you're getting *great* service for "free",
so don't "kill the goose that laid the golden egg". :-)

8. The "mailer" on 'PHILIPS.DE' (also known as 'SCAX18.PHILIPS.DE')
generated the "not authorized" message, and, for some reason,
chose *YOUR* ID (since it was available on a 'From:' tag ??)
as the target for the E-mail, conveniently ignoring both the
'Sender:' and 'Return-Path:' tags, if, indeed, they hadn't
been stripped by all this "forwarding".
So, you should send E-mail to [log in to unmask],
i.e., to the "list-owner", telling him/her that E-mail to Wilhelm
cannot be delivered, and asking him/her to either:
- contact Wilhelm,
- cancel the "forwarding",
- remove Wilhelm's ID from the KVB-L mailing-list.
