Help! A forged posting bounced into my mailbox (Thank God it didn't go to
the list). It is definitely forged, as no one by that name is at
[log in to unmask] "Robert Cavelier" is the explorer LaSalle's first name
(someone is being cute). One of the headers gives a message id of ix.netcom.com.

Normally, I would not be so disturbed by this post, but it is extremely
nasty, and full of libel. The poster is trying to ruin the reputation of a
very fine person, and I want this poster stopped now.

Can anyone tell me what I should do? Thanks.
