Digest mime.  We need to use mime because we want the ability to have
attachments.  Switching to Digest fixes the issue but no attachments
then.

How do you have it set?  DIGEST?  DIGEST MIME?  DIGEST MIME HTML?

The plain DIGEST shouldn't have any attachemnts at all.
