For the record, when giving examples like:
 
SUB XYZ-L John Doe
 
or even:
 
SUB XYZ-L Bill Clinton
 
you will still end up with a number  of John Does or Bill Clintons on any
list with  say 1000  users or  more. And no,  not always  because English
isn't the tongue Mom  and Dad taught them. There are  people who (I would
hope) know that Bill Clinton is  their president and who still don't find
it a bit  strange that they're asked  to type his name  in a subscription
request for a mailing list about, say, Novell networking.
