This spamming is getting rediculous. List owners should definitely use the
"confirm" option on the lists as well as make send=private. This would cut
down on a lot of that stuff.
Also, maybe private ISPs can have all subscribers sign a statement that says
the won't break policies of the provider and the Internet, including
spamming. Breaking the policy would result in a big charge, say $2 for each
complaint received as a result of that breach. The fine could be assessed
against the offending subscriber's credit card. This would turn the Internet
into a very costly medium for spammers to use and thus be a very good
deterent as far as I can see. Hurt them in their wallet and advertisers will
stop abusing the Internet. Does this make sense?
