Note that I never claimed that it wasn't.  I said that I personally find
mail more convenient.  That was true even back in our pre-unix days when
the choice was between bitnet mail or bitnet interactive commands -- before
we were even on the internet.  Just as I'd rather send a series of short
e-mail messages to somebody than "talk" interactively, I'd rather use mail
when communicating with LISTSERV.  I find it more orderly.
