Until recently, the UUE option was sorta broken.  A new module has recently
been made available which fixes the problem.  If this newer PDUTIL MODULE is
not on your LISTSERV and you need it, I'd suggest you contact your listserv
coordinator.  (Note, I think Eric Thomas is NOT responsible for this module,
so don't go beating up on him).  (Gosh, I'd never thought I'd be saying that!)
