I'm glad someone brought up this question. I hope my questions aren't too
off the topic. I own a list on which subscribers (learners of Japanese)
communicate in Japanese. What kind of guidelines can I present
researchers who want to use our archived messages to analyze them for
content, grammar, vocabulary, in light of language acquisition?

I know there are consent forms that researchers could have people sign,
but are there any guidelines that specifically tell researchers that they
must use consent forms or that they must anonymize all quoted messages?
