Assuming that your environment is suitably configured, then yes:

mailto:listname-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@listhost

This does NOT work for subscribers whose email system does NOT generate a
FROM: field with a name e.g., this would NOT work:

FROM: <user@host>

but this would:

FROM: "Mr. User" <user@host>
