I have one subscriber whose posts always have "=20" at the end of each
line. This problem has cropped up on my list before, and I never worried
too much about it. However, this particular subscriber has written to me
to complain; he is afraid that the offending =20s will cause people to
ignore his posts. He consulted his Internet provider, and they told him
that the problem is that LISTSERV is not fully MIME compliant; now he is
asking me to address the problem.
Could anyone advise me on what the appropriate response would be? I
certainly don't think LISTSERV is "broken" in any way, but would like to
have some kind of sensible explanation for this subscriber.
