Well, that's not entirely true (e.g. see dualheader, longlines and
translate as examples of just a few options that modify content) but
yes, LISTSERV doesn't mess with links. Some e-mail clients, most
notably AOL, require links be constructed differently for them to be
clickable. AOL wants the full anchor form of a link ("<a href= ...")
in order for the link to appear clickable.
