> DBMS_DEFAULT_INTERFACE=DBMS

The purpose of this setting is to let you choose a default database if you have several registered in LISTSERV. For instance, you might have three ODBC databases registered in LISTSERV, plus two CLI instances and one Oracle. Ok, not very realistic perhaps, but possible. In that scenario, LISTSERV cannot guess which instance is the primary one, to be used when you write "DBMS= Yes" in the list header without specifying a database explicitly. "DBMS" doesn't match the database registered in your configuration file, so you get an error. My advice is to remove this configuration keyword and let LISTSERV default it, since you only have one database anyway.
