Mark described precisely the type of list/newsgroup pairing I would like
to have.  It does work; I have seen it work.  It makes the information
available to many more people, who can read it via USENET -- and YES,
you can keep SPAMS out.

BUT -- that brings us back to the American U problem.  Where can a
person GET a gateway?
