RE: the need for the LISTSERV Maintainer to get involved in FILELIST
    stuff
 
The LISTSERV Maintainer need only create the listname FILEID file with
the following 2 lines and (s)he need not get involed any further:
 
1
*DEFAULT* OWNNAME
 
This assumes you have the OWNNAME exit.  The *DEFAULT* tells LISTSERV
to store the files using the internal list counter (the number 1 in the
above example gets incremented) for the name of the file on disk.
Unless you're using the OWNNAME exit which then gives it a 'real' name
on disk.
