Judith's advice is "right-on" the money.  Some e-mail systems use
a different e-mail userid@host when the user REPLIES compared to
when they originate a new posting.  Ain't e-mail grand?
 
Another problem that Subscription=Open,Confirm catches is that
sometimes e-mail is not symmetrical i.e., the user can e-mail the
listserv, but the listserv can not e-mail the user (for any one
of a bunch of reasons).
