Maybe you can contact the Maintainer at St-Johns to help you pin point
who is generating those "empty" bounces (if they are bounces and not
LISTSERV generated).
 
Keep a copy of the time stamps and then ask them to log into their log
files.
 
Status: RO , a user has some priviledges to Read Only ?
