It's a slight waste of *your* time, but the server's time use for this
is completely trivial.  OK messages are *not* what's going to make the
difference of your server being adequate or inadequate for the load ...
This is like saying "I earn $200,000 per year but I am still going into
debt; I will therefore stop buying that second cup of coffee every
morning" :-)
