Please do NOT user auto-replies, especially to bulk-lists: in general,
neither the subscribers or the list-owners are concerned that you are
on-vacation.  If you think that they are (or should be) concerned, then
simply email them directly. Often, vacation messges interfere with or
confuse the list or posters.

Also, it is a signal to would-be hackers that they can attempt to mess
with your account.
