I was thinking along the lines of postings that have had some "denial" type
action taken.  Tesa said:

Because not all are approved.  Quite a few are sent 'resubmit' letters with
instructions on how to post correctly.

In Tesa's case, the posting is still pending and it could be aproved by
another moderator in the mean time.  Also, such a feature would give
moderators a "veto" capability, if so desired by the list owner.  Otherwise
the posting will have to "time out" after what, 4 days?  And the sender has
no idea what has happened to the message until that happens?
