Although I have several lists on listserv, I unfortunately have a few run
by majordomo. The majordomo I'm using has no screening abilities at all,
and the system administrator cannot be contacted. (It's a guy with a big
home network connection who lets me a couple of other people host some
lists their for free.)
The problem I have is that someone from aol is sending obnoxious posts and
I've asked [log in to unmask] to do something about it three times. The guy
keeps posting. The guy is subbed under one address (I have no idea which)
and posts from the
address [log in to unmask] (large ass...great name, huh?). B/c it is stupid
majordomo I can't block out the one address, and b/c of the system the list
is on, I can't restrict posts to just the list members.
So all I can do is ask aol to handle their subscribers, which apparently
they have no interest in doing.
Has anyone hear ever had any success dealing with aol, and is their a
different address I should contact?
Jason
