Besides the "usual" reasons to choose from for mail outages/delays, we
have the bonus reasons of end-of-USA school year and the implementation
of the monthly BITEARN NODES updates. Some sites, and thus affecting
their users' subscriptions, have left Bitnet. They did so in a manner
that LISTSERV was not informed of any new subscription address. Though
they might have a valid Internet address, they never "told" anyone via
official channels i.e., sufficient lead time in updating the :NEWNODE
tag of their now-obsolete node. Head the advice in the file LEAVING
BITNET (available via a GET cmd from listserv@bitnic).
