Based on your description of the problem, it appears that your MTA is
configured as an open relay, i.e., it will accept a message from anyone,
anywhere for delivery to anyone, anywhere. Once upon a time, most mail
servers were configured to operate as open relays, however, the days
when this was an acceptable mode of operation have long since passed.
The MTA must be reconfigured to reject third-party relay attempts.
