The above 6 lines will cut/paste into a listserv message without editing
and not choke listserv. Also, it's probably easier to delete the
comments if one wishes; it leave room for more lengthy comments; it
makes clear distinction between what is a comment and what is the
command; a comment can be used to head a series of GET commands to all
of which the single comment applies.
