I wonder if anyone could advise me (or direct me to a source) about
how to solve the problem of an "incomplete message" in a list
notebook. I've never heard of this one before.

Error 2013  from LSVFWR1 TNC  LOG9207 B while  logging mail for  TNC. An
incomplete copy of the message might be present in the notebook. List is
being held with current mailing being postponed.
