Let's say  it only  took 1  sec, everything  counted (receiving  the mail
message, processing it,  sending any reply, etc). 8000  users, 8000 secs,
2h13. Students tend to  leave the university near the same  time, so on a
"black  day" you  might have  10  universities doing  this, 80000  users,
