One more thing:

    The info command gets me a file with one format that wraps
    everything that isn't double-spaced.  It also gives right flush
    margins with huge spaces between words.

    The subscribe listname  etc. gets me a completely botched, wrapped
    around format - regardless of double-spacing, triple spacing or
    anything else.
