The first  editor, if you don't  use the "Moderator=" keyword,  must be a
plain  e-mail address.  The problem  is  that when  LISTSERV evaluates  a
complex enumerable expression, there is no guarantee about what order the
addresses will be  returned in. Currently I think it's  only an issue for
list references but in the past it was common for LISTSERV to simply sort
the results to eliminate duplicates.  So the "Editor=" keyword is special
and  the  first item  must  be  a plain  address,  again  unless you  use
"Moderator=".
