Don't EVER delete subscribers from (or add subsribers to) a list you
got with the GET command.  The GET command is basically for changing
information in the header, and it's better to use the "Get LISTNAME
(header" command that won't even send you the whole thing.  To add
or delete subscribers us the ADD or DEL commands.
