Nope, you had it right and my guess was wrong. I am puzzled. Hopefully
one of the Lsoft gurus can shed some light on this.
The only thing I can think of is that your mailer is wrapping something
around the text that listserv thinks is a command. Rich text?
CC an attempt to me. I use a mailer that doesn't try to hide things
from me.
