|My poor brainfoggy pwc's (people with CFIDS, chronic fatigue and
|immune dysfunction syndrome) would be TOTALLY upset to find themselves
|set to nopost! I could never convince them they hadn't done something
|"wrong" and been "disciplined".

The purpose of NOPOST (which might just as easily be REVIEW) is to force a
dialog between the subscriber and the list-owner INSTEAD OF the subscriber
and list -- "why aren't I receiving list mail?; is the list working?" with
followup to on-list responseS. The forced dialog between subscriber and
owner is meant to unexpurgate the list, subscriber, and owner interactions.
And depending upon the nature of the owner-subscriber interaction, may
even resolve future problems, and/or assist them with retrieving recent
postings that were not previously delivered.

I prefer NOPOST since I use REVIEW for other more "normal" reasons.

Needless to say, YMWV.
