I'll add my name to the list of those who weren't bothered by the
'commercial' message on the list. The information contained within
seemed entirely appropriate, even important.
 
I also think it's naive to think that the Net is going to continue to be
some sort of commerce-free bastion of free expression.  Nullum Gratuitum
Prandium.* Nor is it truly private, one should always keep in mind.
