If I understand you correctly you want a method by which non-subscribers
as well as subscribers can post, but allows you the ability to approve the
postings of the non-subscribers while those from subscribers can go
directly to the list without first detouring to you. There is a such
a method available in version 1.8c; my co-listowner and I use it in
the AUTOCAT list.
SEND= Editor
EDITOR= [log in to unmask],(Nameofyourlist)
This makes subscribers automatic editors of their own postings. They
are not asked to OK their own messages, the fact that they are subscribers
means that their postings are automatically accepted. Messages from all
non-subscribers plus from those subscribers whose subscriptions have
been set to REVIEW status are then sent to the individual named in the
EDITOR keyword for previewing and approval/disapproval.
