A listowner on our machine reported the following oddity...

One of his subscriber's address appeared on a posting to the list like
this:

[log in to unmask]

which brings a couple of questions.

1) How did this happen?

2) Why was the posting successfully distributed to the list?  The user is
still (and only) subscribed as [log in to unmask]

I realize that the '%' address is a hack, but if the subscriber didn't
do it where did the hack come from?
