Well and good, but that won't get get your gateway out of the
american.edu  netnews/usenet roster, it will still be there as
bit.listserv.whattheheck

You can block it on your end easily, getting that netnews/usenet
item removed is entirely different, and it has not been easy to do.

My personal advice to anyone with a list who has not set up such a
gateway, with american.edu or anyone else, is, **DON'T!!!!**
