Hi,

I'm new at listowning, and I have a couple of questions.
***Question 1***
First, what is 'proper' netiquette timing for announcing a change in
listownership?
  a) immediately after the changeover occurs,
  b) during the period when the new listowners are learning how to manage
the list, or
  c) after the training/trial period is over?

My co-listowner was just beginning to learn how to handle errors when the
subscribers learned of our new status...and this issue was one of the sticky
points.

***Question 2***
I'm wondering if error reports get delivered to the wrong listowner very
often, or whether I managed to see 'yet another one of those oddities?' The
header at the bottom of this message looks like an error report that should
have gone to the [log in to unmask] error box. It ended up in the
Gardens error box. The cng.edu address is a Gardens subscriber. I've been
sitting on it during a couple of days of indecision. Should messages like
this be sent on the other person or back to the postmaster at cng.edu...or
just deleted?

Regards,
Barb Dorsett <[log in to unmask]>
active co-listowner for Gardens <[log in to unmask]>
