This should be "Filter= Also,postmast*@*,etc". How did you enter that
keyword into the list? In principle it should have been rejected.

This is an incompetently forged message resulting in an invalid RFC822
header. LISTSERV can't determine the true origin, and sets it to
[log in to unmask] In that case it also skips the filter check since
it knows the message is not really from POSTMASTER. The reason it uses
POSTMASTER is to have a valid address one can reply to, rather than a
black hole. Actually I should probably change this to owner-LISTSERV and
remove the filter skip.
