Based on this screenshot, your license is indeed permanent and allows you to run any version released on or before 29 April 2016 in perpetuity, such as the 13 Aug 2015 build on the screenshot. If you try to run, say, the 2017a build, you will get a license error. You do not need 2017a for DMARC support, your 2015 build is good enough for that. If you want 2017a for other reasons, you do need to renew your maintenance.

This again is based on the screenshot, I have not spoken with any sales people about your account.

Hi all,

I'm including a screen shot of the license page, it still shows

that it's a "perpetual license" with no expiration. But then on

the Dashboard it says the license has expired and so I can't

run the list. Maybe that's the glitch I'm experiencing.

Again, here's the note I see on the dashboard page.

"Your LISTSERV license has expired. You can no longer

use LISTSERV unless you renew your license. Contact L-Soft<http://www.lsoft.com/contact/contact.asp>

to renew your license."

When I originally bought the 5 point license I ran back in 2003 or so, it

was a perpetual license, and I ran it for years, without any service contract.

It just worked, no problems. Then in 2014 we upgraded the software to

deal with the D-Marc issue. Why it's showing an expired license now I

don't know,, it always said it was a perpetual license.

You need to read the LISTSERV(tm) log file, starting just after the last time everything worked correctly. Or maybe just the most recent portion, including the time period when you conducted your testing. First you have to find the error message, then you figure out how to correct the problem.

Greetings,

I run a listserv using LSoft software for my church, I have a 5

point license. I've had it for years. It's not *official*, it's just

something I've been doing on the side to create an online

community to share with as we have members all over the

world.

We upgraded to Listserv 16.0 a couple years ago, but recently,

as of May, it just stopped distributing emails. I can still log into

the interface, post an email and it will say that it's was success-

fully sent, but then nothing will appear in the archives, and

nothing appears in my inbox.

I'd like to get the problem resolved,, my question is: Is there

a checklist of things I can check here on my end first before

getting tech support from LSoft involved? It just might be some-

thing simple. Money is tight so I'd like to check it out myself first,

if possible. I have ftp access to the server and all the files and

folders. I don't want to play with anything there yet without some

good advice.

I get error reports sent to me from the listserv saying that

subscribers with Yahoo addresses failed to get delivered.

Also, no test messages are appearing in the archives either.

Also I tried using my gmail address to send tests to the list,

and nothing shows up.

Again, if there's a checklist of things I can review first that may

help I'd like to try that.

Thanks,

Ron Beatteay
