NOMAIL isn't so destructive. You don't lose all your settings, your
subscription date, and non-moderated status (if applicable). And you
don't have to go through a hassle (more confirmations) to start receiving
mail again.

Admittedly, if someone wants to cause trouble for someone else, they're
gonna do it. It's simple a matter of where you want to draw the line.
